Abstract

Abstract : The effect of hydrostatic pressure on the viscosity of pure water has been measured with a rolling-ball type of viscometer over the pressure and temperature ranges of 1 to 2,000 kg/sq cm and 2 to 20 C. The application of pressure tends to destroy the structured regions in liquid water. (Author)
