Abstract
The VII All-Russian Congress of Accreditation Experts was held in Moscow in February 2021. The event was held by the Federal Service for Accreditation with the organizational support of the National Institute for Accreditation of the Russian Accreditation Agency. The congress participants discussed topical issues of the development of the national accreditation system in the light of the implementation of the "regulatory guillotine" mechanism and in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic, as well as the formation and maintenance of the competencies of accreditation experts. This year, the congress was held online for the first time. More than 350 people from all regions of the country, near and far abroad, including more than 260 accreditation experts, took part in the work of the congress.
