Abstract
Raman and i.r. spectra of three new compounds of the inorganic complex azide type M 2Zn(N 3) 4 with M K, Rb, Cs are reported. The spectral data are found to be much simpler than predicted by a factor group analysis, although factor group splitting is observed. Some possible explanations of these observations are discussed.
