Abstract

Propagation of persimmon ( Diospyros kaki L.) on D. lotus L. by veneer grafting, tongue grafting or budding was tested at 6 times from late June to the 3rd week in September. Grafting resulted in better success than budding. Success rates of 80–100% were obtained with veneer or tongue grafting between late June and the 3rd week of August.
