Abstract

The variational iteration method is used for solving the linear and nonlinear Volterra integral and integro-differential equations. The method is reliable in handling Volterra equations of the first kind and second kind in a direct manner without any need for restrictive assumptions. The method significantly reduces the size of calculations.
