Abstract

The vapour pressure of CO 2 was measured from 194 to 243 K including the normal sublimation temperature and the triple-point temperature. The vapour pressures of the solid CO 2 cover a range where values were scarce, with good agreement with results previously reported. The vapour pressures of the liquid CO 2 are also in good agreement with known values. Uncertainties in pressure and temperature are ±0.0001 MPa and ±0.001 K, respectively. The triple-point pressure derived from the results is (0.5176 ± 0.0003) MPa and agrees with a previous measurement.
