Abstract

Theme TV series are dramas that take the theme of today's society as the theme, in order to promote mainstream culture, shape collective values, and encourage a positive and healthy material and spiritual life. In recent years, thematic TV dramas have been favored by young people and the capital market, which is a very positive cultural phenomenon. This article takes the popular theme TV series "This World" in 2022 as the main text, and discusses the value expression, innovative narrative techniques and artistic image techniques of the theme TV series in the new era, then explores how it reflects the original creative intention of the creators.
