Abstract
In “The value of SEG, or it's not $70 wasted” (TLE, September 1998), Karen Christopherson lucidly described the many benefits of SEG membership. Karen's article demonstrated that potential membership benefits far outweigh their cost. In this article, I focus on a subset of these benefits, that of journal publications. While writing this article, I received a number of positive comments, some of which are included.
