(eds.), Sustainable Development in Coastal Regions: A Perspective of Environment, Economy, and Technology. Journal of Coastal Research, Special Issue No. 112, pp. 433-436. Coconut Creek (Florida), ISSN 0749-0208.In modern market competition, the application of big data provides a new path for enterprise value creation and competitive advantage enhancement. Through a review of related theories, this article explains the resource attributes of big data, analyzes the path of enterprise ocean informatization for value creation based on big data from the dual perspectives of value chain and knowledge management, and proposes a value creation and value appreciation evaluation model based on big data., And draw the following conclusions: for marine information projects, value creation based on big data is a process of companies dynamically integrating virtual and real value chains to build a value creation system, and a spiral upgrade process of searching for external knowledge to achieve corporate knowledge coupling and innovation. Therefore, it is recommended that for marine informatization projects, companies attach importance to big data resources, try to build a value creation system based on big data, and use big data to strengthen knowledge management so as to enhance their competitive advantage.
