Abstract

The underwater exploration of coastal seas is a challenging problem that requires a multi-vehicle system as an answer. The environment is presented along with the specific case of the Baltic Sea, as well as how its properties lead to requiring an autonomous group of robotic floats. The specifics of such a system are presented, detailing the cyclical and autonomous nature of its operation.
