Abstract

A numerical algorithm for solving linear boundary value problems has been presented. Walsh-wavelet packet bases are used as trial functions in least square method formulation. The algorithm was applied to the analysis of several two- and multi-point boundary value problems in mechanics. Walsh-wavelet packet basis functions allow to formulate an effective numerical procedure for the analysis of multi-point linear boundary value problems.
