Abstract

Summary No experimental evidence has been found to support the belief that unburned skin homografts from unburned animals survive longer if applied to other burned animals. The adjunctive use of convalescent burn serum in no way altered the rejection of these homografts. There appears to be no clinical relationship between the homograft reaction and postburn immunologic changes.
