Abstract

The use of sildenafil in severe early-onset fetal growth restriction: a case report and review of current literature

Highlights

  • Early-onset severe fetal growth restriction (FGR) is diagnosed when the estimated fetal weight or abdominal circumference is less than the 3rd percentile before 32 weeks gestation; a condition which complicates 0.2-0.4% of all pregnancies [1,2,3]

Her past obstetrical history was significant for an uncomplicated fullterm delivery followed by a 26-week stillbirth in a pregnancy affected by severe FGR and severe preeclampsia
