Abstract

I have read with sorrow in the article of K. E. Scheer “The use of short-lived isotopes in medical diagnosis” (1969, Br. J. Radiol., 42, 641) the words: “by the Swedish scientist von Hevesy”. Hevesy Gyorgy—this was his original name—was my compatriot, he is a Hungarian scientist indeed, and we are very proud of him.
