Abstract

We present exact time-dependent quantum mechanical calculations of Raman intensities for a model H 3 + system that includes two coupled excited electronic states. The sensitivitiy of the Raman intensities on the magnitude of the coupling between the upper surfaces, and on the orientation of the transition dipoles (taken to be either parallel or antiparallel), is explored.
