Abstract
The authors report that lipoplasty can be used to contour and debulk flaps of various designs if fat is available in the flap or if a prominence of subcutaneous fat results from a buried flap. The technique, which is analogous to that used to treat localized fat deposits for aesthetic reasons, is presented here.
