The Use of Information Resources in the System of Technical and Forensic Support for Countering the Illegal Production of Synthetic Psychoactive Substances

Abstract

This paper presents the results of studying the theoretical and methodological aspects of the possibility of using an information resource: the automated information search system “AIPSIN-anti-drugs” in the system of technical and forensic support for countering the illegal production of synthetic psychoactive substances in drug laboratories when solving problems of evidence base formation and tactical implementation in the form of a forensic operation (combination) developed by the authors. The special importance of the development of modern forensic technologies, built on the basis of modern digital information resources, in the formation of the evidence base, as well as the scientific legitimacy of the use of various digital resources in the system of forensic support for countering illegal drug production in the Russian Federation is shown. As a result of the discussion, the authors come to the conclusion that the tasks solved by an expert and a specialist should be based on the content of the relevant information modules of the system under consideration, and the conclusions drawn up by them should have appendices in the form of formalized reports issued by an automated information retrieval system.
