Abstract

Abstract An HPLC/Thermospray MS method is described for the determination of aflatoxins B1, B2, G1 and G2 in peanut extracts. Samples are extracted and prepared for analysis using an SPE method. The final determination utilizes reversed phase HPLC with a thermospray MS detector. The use of the MS allowed for unequivocal identification of aflatoxins in the extracts.
