Abstract

The Rototherm heat exchanges type PT and ET are supplied exclusively in the U.K. by Eurex Energy Ltd, a member of The Heat Exchanger Group of Companies based at Hinckley, Leicestershire. The matrix is constructed from a sea water corrosion resistant alloy to a very high specification. This has enabled their use in arduous industrial environments where, after many years of operation, they are still practically as new. It was this experience and operational evidence which led the Rototherm to be considered foremost above competitors where corrosion is a possibility. This paper describes the application of the system in a metal working plant in the Middle East.
