Abstract

Hadith is one of the sources of Islamic teachings after the Qur'an. This is explained by the hadith of the Prophet Saw has a function related to the Qur'an itself, namely as an explanatory for the Qur'an to explain globally, explain the difficult, limit the absolute, specialize the general, and sometimes establish a law that is not found in the Qur'an. Thus the hadith is a practical guide to what the Qur'an has brought. So the function of the hadith is so important, both as a postulate and a source of Islamic teachings in navigating people's lives. But in addition to wading through people's lives. To reduce the sense of doubt in the wider community, the hadith that is used as a legal backing can be accounted for to its sahîhan.
