Abstract
During the last 10 years, along with the advance of magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) techniques, the use of Whole Body (WB) images has been increasing on oncology patients and multifocal diseases. The growing evidence that metabolic activity is correlated with tumor cellularity in some tumors permits that diffusion weighted images (DWI) suggests the tumor activity and therapy response, as this MR technic lies on water Brownian motion, which is modified by the interaction of cell membranes and macromolecules.
