Abstract

The widespread use of laser printers has made it necessary for document examiners to find a method of linking a questioned document to an individual printer. The identification of marks on laser-printed documents that derive from a fault on the print drum provide a means of achieving this. These drum faults may also be used to determine the sequence of printing different pages of laser-printed materials.
