Abstract

The use of digital filters is ubiquitous, but their use for predicting data from natural systems has always caused dubious results. This paper discusses the possibility of using the Kalman filter for predictive activities when processing geodata. Large amounts of accumulated information can open up new horizons for human activities, including when using geospatial data referencing. The results of the study are presented and conclusions are drawn about the possibility of using digital filters in the calculation of natural indicators.
