Abstract

AbstractAn anion exchange resin (Dowex I‐X4) was used to extract soil Mo from 30 western Oregon hill soils of varying development and derived from different parent materials. The values of Mo extracted by the anion resin increased with soil pH and were reproducible using the thiocyanate colorimetric procedure. Soil Mo so obtained was found to be correlated with plant Mo, plant N, and soil pH.
