Abstract
Viscoat® is a non-pyrogenic, sterile, viscoelastic solution used to protect endothelium and enhance visualization in cataract and corneal surgery. Commonly used in ophthalmic surgery, we evaluated whether it could improve spatial relations by maintaining abdominal vasal lumen patency and increase visualization by its magnifying effect in urologic microsurgery, specifically in vasovasostomy (VV) cases. In this study, we determined if the routine use of Viscoat® impaired patency rates after VV.
