Abstract

As per the recent CSE guidelines, TEE is considered an aerosol generating medical procedure (AGMP). With such a rampant shortage of personnel protective equipment (PPE) and stringent scarce resources allocation, performing such procedure exposes clinicians to high risk of (SARS-COV-2) contamination. For remediation, creative protective equipment is needed. This clinical project attempts to remediate to this situation by offering a possible safety protective gear, designed specifically for TEE.
