Abstract

Severe menorrhagia that cannot be surgically or medically controlled may require hysterectomy. We report a case where hysterectomy was not acceptable because of a desire to maintain potential fertility. She demonstrated that the use of gonadotropin-releasing hormone (GnRh) analogs, plus transdermal estrogen and oral progestagin solved her specific problems
