Abstract

The problem of scientific heritage of Сhrisanf Yashurzhinsky requires detailed research and careful studying. The publications of the scientist in the literal chronicle «Kievan Past» are still scantily explored. The material of these articles has a tremendous scientifical and educational value on condition that it is used in school practice. The purpose of the article is to develop methodological recommendations for studying folk winter rituality of Ukrainians and corresponding genres of calendar ritual oeuvre that are based on research materials of Chr. Yaschurzhinsky. The article reveals the possibilities of studying the work of the scientist from the identified problem during the lessons of Ukrainian studies in secondary schools. Also methodological recommendations are developed according to the usage of written folk drama «Koza» in extracurricular work with students in the process of which they are able to reproduce it actively. In conclusion the study of folk texts and rituals is organized according to the winter cycle which will contribute to the formation of the students’ desire to revive the cultural heritage of their native land. Taking as a basis of the suggested methodological recommendations in the article for studying the research of folk winter rituality of Ukrainians by Chr. Yaschurzhinskiy. Every nationally conscious teacher will be able to use them creatively, as well as to select non-traditional forms of conducting lessons and extracurricular activities that are related to the subject.
