Abstract

The unipolarity of the (K0.48Na0.52)0.96Li0.04Nb0.95Ta0.05O3-xCu ceramics has been investigated. The ceramics with x = 0.015–0.025 form the unipolarity after the poling-aging-repoling treatment. The internal bias field (Ei) in the repoled ceramics is as high as 14 kV/cm, which can return the remnant polarization (Pr) to its initial state immediately after the applied field returns to zero. The unipolarity can keep stable until the ceramics are annealed at the temperature higher than 120 °C. The stability of unipolarity in the ceramics is impacted by the phase transformation.
