He has been studying naked mole-rats in the wild in Kenya since 1985. Eileen Lacey is a postdoctoral researcher in the Museum of Zoology at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. Braude and Lacey have cowritten a number of articles on naked mole-rat behavior and contributed four chapters to The Biology of the Naked Mole-Rat, edited by Paul W. Sherman, Jennifer U. M. Jarvis and Richard D.
