ISSN 0803-706X Three combined steps of progression, which center around the female oedipal development, are introduced and illustrated by a clinical example: (1) the so-called “disillusionment-discouragement fantasy” (2) the capacity to be alone (3) the confidence of having “treasures” to give to a beloved partner.
