Abstract
The article attempts to set the scene for the conference on a new book on Unauthorized Agency. It examines whether the Principles of European Contract Law (PECL), the UNIDROIT Principles of International Commercial Contracts (PICC), and the Draft Common Frame of Reference (DCFR) reflect a ‘common core’ of European private law.
