Abstract

The relevance of the research is due to the fact that children from interethnic families are often included simultaneously in the value-normative space of two sometimes significantly different ethno-cultural communities, which, of course, affects the features of their ethnic identity. Our scientific interest is to determine the types of the ethnic identity of the Chechen teenagers from heterogenicity families. Using diagnostic methods (the method of J. Finney, measuring the severity of ethnic identity; questionnaire of N.M. Lebedeva and A.N. Tatarko to study the features of ethnic identity; method "Types of ethnic identity" by G. U. Soldatova and S.V. Ryzhova; questionnaire for studying the structure of ethnic identity by M.V. Vereshchagina) using factor analysis, such types of ethnic identity of Chechen teenagers aged 15 to 17 years as harmonious, conflict, negative, assimilative, multi-ethnic, negated, marginal and supra-ethnic are identified and described. It is shown that there are certain correlates between the subjective assessment of adolescents from heteroethnic families living in the Chechen Republic, the connection with the people of the father and mother, which leads to the formation of a certain type of ethnic identity.
