Abstract

Between 1997 and 2010, altogether 26 aquatic and semiaquatic bug species were collected at 29 localities in Hungary. The collected species belonged to 9 families (Nepidae: 2 species, Corixidae:11, Naucoridae: 1, Notonectidae: 2, Pleidae: 1, Mesoveliidae: 1, Hydrometridae: 1, Veliidae: 1 and Gerridae: 6). This paper presents 233 records of occurrences. The most wide-spread 6 species in the natural or semi-natural soda pans were Sigara lateralis, Paracorixa concinna, Cymatia rogenhoferi, Sigara striata, Corixa affinis and Gerris odontogaster.
