Abstract

The authors show how the exact interface free energy F for the Ising antiferromagnet on the triangular lattice with infinite first-neighbour and finite second-neighbour interactions can be determined analytically. From considerations of the angular dependence of the interface free energy they conclude that the transition is not second order. An upper bound for the transition temperature is given.
