Abstract

This paper explores the effects of the Treaty of Lisbon on European environmental law. It contains an analysis of the effects on decision-making, legal protection and the level of protection. The conclusion is that the Treaty of Lisbon is superfluous for European environmental policy in that it does not significantly improve decision-making and fails to address the problems resulting from the Court's increasing workload.
