During the months of May, June, and July, 1948, a total of 17 cases with the clinical diagnosis of Rocky Mountain Spotted Fever were treated with Chloromycetin.†In 16 of these cases adequate confirmation of the clinical diagnosis was obtained through animal inoculation and serological tests.
