Abstract
1. 1) Culex pipiens fatigans can transmit a species of Brugia infecting the domestic cat. 2. 2) Average infection rates in the various groups of mosquitoes ranged from 8.53 per cent. to 25.43 per cent.; the rates being significantly higher in older groups of mosquitoes. 3. 3) Prior non-infective blood meals have no significant effect on the infection rates, although it should be noted that the highest infection rates were found in older mosquitoes given two such blood meals.
