Abstract

In this paper the peculiarities of the transient (start-up) laminar flow of an incompressible Newtonian liquid with non-monotonous temperature dependent viscosity through a plane narrow channel have been studied. Depending on the heat exchange intensity on the walls of the channel (Nusselt numbers), different transient flow regimes have been analyzed. It has been revealed that there are four types of transient regimes, including the oscillatory one.
