The Top 20 Baby Names for 2014 in the US

Abstract

Every year, the Office of Social Security provides a list of the top 20 baby names for a given year (http://www.ssa.gov/oact/babynames/). The 20 most frequently occurring baby names for children for 2014 by gender appear in Table 1. The US Office of Social Security also provides a list of the most frequent given names for babies by decade, by state, and in the US territories from 1880 to the present.
