Abstract
The thermal laminar boundary layer on a continuous isothermal cylinder for Pr ≷ 1 has been investigated by approximate Kármán-Pohlhausen integral technique and exactly for small values of the curvature parameter X. From the comparison of both solutions the error of the approximate method has been estimated.
