Abstract
Objective To study the therepeutic effects of lamellar keratoplasty (LKP) with longterm dry-preserved corneal in treatment of perforated fungal corneal ulcer. Methods Since there were no fresh cornea with functional endothelium obstained, 12 cases of perforated fungal corneal ulcer had under gone LKP with dry cornea that had been preserved with calcium chloride for over 2 years. The treatment effect was analyzed. Results All the 12 cases ( 12 eyes) of fungal corneal ulcer had been controlled, and the patient had cast off blind. Conclusions LKP with long-tem dry presreve corneal for funpal corneal ulcer has therepeufic effects if there was no fresh cornea obtained.
