Abstract
Objective To investigate the curative effect of dacryocystorhinostomy under intranasal endoscope for treatment of chronic dacryocystitis.Methods Sixty seven patients(77 eyes)with chronic dacryocystitis were treated with dacryocystorhinostomy under intranasal endoscope,and were followed up for 1～1.5 years.Results 69 eyes were cured(89.61%),5 eyes achieved symptomatic relief(6.49%)and 3 eyes remained unchanged(3.90%),the effective rate was 96.10%.Conclusion Dacryocystorhinostomy under intranasal endoscope was proved to be effective for the treatment of chronic dacryocystitis,with minimal surgery trauma and left no facial scar,furthermore.nasal disease may be treated at the sanle time.
