Abstract

According to the Rosin-Ramler-Benuet equation, the influences of continuous particle size distribution on water demand, degree of hydration, packing density, and porosity are deduced. On this basis, the influences of the particle size distribution on the properties of cement are analyzed under different conditions. The optimum distribution of cement particles is proposed.
