Abstract

Rohinton Mistry is an Indian born Canadian writer. To abscond from the customary life he started writing novels. He focused on the Parsi people and also socio-political issues in all his novels. Mistry portrays the anguish of Parsi people group all through the power of politicians. Politicians are good at making their own space in the society. On the contrary, common people become victims in the game of politics. This article aims to analyze the theme of politics and problematic representation of Parsis in Rohinton Mistry’s select novels.
