Abstract

This qualitative research describes how students view when using comic media as a tool in the teaching and learning process in English. Researchers interviewed 22 students of SMPN 2 Dau One Roof, of which there were 16 male students and 6 female students. The results of this interview found that there were 16 students who had read comics and that was more than half the number of students in the class. From the results obtained, teachers can use comic media as a tool in the teaching and learning process in English. Comics can be indesign as interesting as possible, such as the use of pictures and colors so that students are more interested in reading comics so that children's interest in reading grows more and also the material conveyed through comic media can be conveyed properly.
