Abstract

Searching for information about the almost-forgotten feminist theorist and activist, Teresa Billington-Greig, the authors discovered that the Fawcett Library held a large collection of her papers. With the generous assistance of the Fawcett staff, they made use of many of the resources of the library, as well as the Billington-Greig Collection itself, to answer not only questions about Teresa Billington-Greig, but also more general ones about women's political organizations and the nature of individual feminist commitment.
