Abstract

Alice Munro is a Canadian author writing in English. Her stories explore human complexities in an uncomplicated prose style. Munro's work has been described as having revolutionized the architecture of short stories for its tendency of moving forward and backward in time is in particular. This paper attempted to give a deep analysis on the times order in the short story “The Bear Came Over the Mountain” to explore the temporal art of the story.
