Abstract

The approach to the description of the solubility of inert gases in organic liquids suggested earlier was used to analyze the temperature dependences of the solubility of He and Ne in water at 101.325 kPa. The conclusion was drawn that the reason for nonlinearity of these dependences was temperature-induced changes not only in mean intermolecular distances but also in structural organization specific of water. These changes caused natural changes in the size distribution of water intermolecular space cavities.
