Abstract

The circumlunar return and reentry spacecraft has landed at the reserved landing site on Nov. 1, 2014, which represented the great success of the circumlunar return and reentry spacecraft of 3rd phase of China lunar exploration program. As a key step of the whole space mission, the guidance, navigation and control system of the spacecrafts service module sent the reentry capsule into the back corridor with the high-accuracy reentry angle and reentry velocity. This article introduces the wheel control attitude management technology, jet management technology and accelerometer closed-loop orbit control technology used to realize return and reentry to the earth within 11 km/s and solve the difficult problem of the accuracy requirement for the reentry angle and reentry velocity. The combination of these techniques was implemented on orbit, and obtained the orbit control accuracy higher than 0.009 m/s and the reentry angle control accuracy higher than 0.024°.
